Mesa Holiday Art and Music Festival

I got selected by a jury to participate in the Mesa Art Festival, held by the Mesa Art Center here. Mesa Art Center is the largest art center in Arizona and it holds shows for renowned artists in all fields of art from painting to acting to performers to name it and you have it. This festival is a difficult one to even get into as lots of artists apply and it can hold only so many entries.

Anyway, the festival is on Nov 22, which means I have been working like crazy towards it. I heard that I got in 3 weeks back, and only now have I got a chance to write this blog post. It’s been crazy, crazy… but a lot of fun too. Painting for hours on an end… painting so much that my hand began to hurt the other day….. painting until I see patterns and colors in my dreams (not that I didn’t already :p) …… oh my! it’s really been unending. Well, this is the start of recognition… the start of realizing the true me…. the start of living my dream. I have my fingers crossed and hope that it all goes well. I hope my hard work pays off. Wish me luck, coz I’m going to need it.
